Director of Pharmacy - Ridgecrest Regional Hospital

Ridgecrest, CA (Req# 20038120)

The Cardinal Health Director of Pharmacy will provide oversight of medication management and pharmacy operations for Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. The director ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal services, meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the organization.

Ridgecrest Regional Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located 1.5 hours northeast of Los Angeles in the Southern Sierra Region that provides a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Patients can be admitted to the hospital if their medical needs make that the best option. The Director of Pharmacy will oversee the pharmacy, managed by Cardinal Health

Qualifications:

  • Must be a “good standing” licensed Pharmacist and eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Prior leadership experience in a 200+ census hospital is required. 
  • Prior 340B experience preferred.
  • Oncology/infusion experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership responsibility for off-site hospital based locations preferred. 
  • Prior experience with establishing goals and achieving results while holding self and others accountable for results.
  • Ability to anticipate and interpret customer needs and business challenges.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with internal/external groups to achieve business results, integrating the diverse perspectives of individuals of different backgrounds; coaches others in the dynamics of effective teamwork.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills.
