Kevin Borg, PharmD, had seen his patients struggling and suffering due to the limitations of commercial drugs too many times. He pitched incorporating the unlimited potential of compounding into the pharmacy practice where he was the founding pharmacist-in-charge, but was told no by the owner.
That’s when he chose to pursue his dream of opening his own compounding pharmacy. His first call was to PCCA. We helped him put together business and marketing plans that helped him secure a U.S. Small Business Administration loan for Potter’s House Apothecary.
Since opening, patient demand for compounded medications has built up a solid revenue stream for Kevin. His pharmacy is thriving today, and Kevin describes PCCA as an essential extension of his business.
