Stericycle is pleased to announce the launch of our reengineered 1 Gallon CsRx® Controlled Substance Wastage and SafeDropTM Sharps Mail Back Containers!


At Stericycle, we protect what matters. We continue making significant investments in our container portfolio to bring our customers innovative, sustainable services and first-to-market products.

Your reengineered containers will retain all the features of your current containers and feature an improved design equipped with:

  • Tethered lid to allow easy container closing with single hand
  • Modern aesthetic with redesigned handles for better grip and handling
  • 37% less plastic compared to our prior containers, helping to reduce CO2 emissions associated with the manufacturing of the containers*

Stericycle continues to identify ways to reduce plastic without compromising product integrity while providing a more contemporary design that is compatible with your current brackets and mounts.


Our complete CsRx® Controlled Substance Wastage and SafeDropTM Sharps Mail Back Container suites will be reengineered in the near future with other sizes also featuring this improved design.
