In 2018, Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) began offering clinic-based specialty
pharmacy services in partnership with Trellis Rx. In just one year, SOMC and Trellis Rx
significantly enhanced the specialty medication experience for patients and providers by
rapidly expanding the program to multiple clinics and specialties. Among other benefits, the program has allowed more patients to afford their medications by helping them access over $500,000 of financial support.
