ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Organize and implement plans to recruit pharmacists.
- Develop new and creative ways to provide pharmacist leads to the directors.
- Create a schedule for pharmacy open house programs to generate pharmacy leads.
- Obtain lists of pharmacists registered with the state board of pharmacy for recruitment purposes.
- Coordinate creation of recruitment mailers and organize distribution of mailers to pharmacists.
- Conduct cold call canvasses prior to open house events to field any questions or comments prior to the team arriving for canvass.
- Coordinate canvass events prior to the open house, which includes organization of individuals performing the canvassing and the areas to be canvassed.
- Maintain canvass sheet for future follow-up purposes.
- Responsible for providing leads from canvass to the Divisional Director of College Relations & Pharmacy Recruitment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Ability to pass drug test.

- Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
The following qualities are helpful:
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
- Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
- Ten-key punch speed of seven-thousand (7,000) SPH.
- Typing speed of forty (40) WPM.
- Ability to read, write, and/or speak or comprehend Spanish.
CERTIFICATES,LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS
This position requires a valid driver's license for business travel and a valid Pharmacist license.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or equivalent in Pharmacy, plus three (3) years' experience in human resources, management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
